Marching band has been a passion of mine for the last six years I have traveled all over North America performing and competing in different states and provinces. In 2022 I was head drum major for my high school marching band, I lead our program  in rehearsals and performances, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that everyone had the best opportunity to preform at their best. The last couple years I have been performing with the Calgary Stampede Show band, we competed in the 2023 WAMSB (World Association of Marching Show Bands) Competition and we won gold, becoming seven time world champions. This was one of my greatest achievements as our band had spent countless hours practicing and preparing for this performance and we all stood up to the occasion and did what we know how to do best. I love marching band because it is all about fostering an inclusive environment and generate opportunity for our youth to do exceptional things, and that is my greatest goal this year to give members in some of the younger bands the same inspiration and motivation I was given to continue this wonderful legacy.
