The Griffins' Nest is a nationally recognized student newspaper paper whose work has been applauded by members of the Canadian Association of Journalists, Student Press Law Center, Canadian Youth Journalism Project, British Columbia Civil Liberties Association, J-Source, and the Canadian University Press.

• Oversees all aspects of Eric Hamber secondary school's student-led newspaper, from planning to printing.
• Manages a staff of over 100 student reporters, guides a team of editors, and maintains high journalistic standards
• Plans and produces print publications, stays informed on current global events, and collects and uses data for investigative pieces
• Communicates effectively with administrators, teachers, and other community members
• Manages website and social media, maintaining distinct cross-platform brand image

• Maintains high standards of customer service in high-volume, fast-paced operations.
• Uses cash register to tender change and process cash and credit card payments.
• Effectively communicates with co-workers and managers to provide quality service and experiences
• Prepares food and drink upon order

• Officiates small-sided sporting events, games, and competitions, maintaining standards of play and verifying game rules.
• Examines equipment for proper functionality and promotes safe playing conditions.

• Volunteered at anti-racism events by providing information on racial equity and inclusivity for Asian Canadians
• Supported engaging and smooth-running operations by helping with organization
• Used strong interpersonal communication skills to convey information to others

• Volunteered as an Assistant running Children's Art and Literature camps.
• Responsibilities included preparing art activities, working one-on-one with children ages 5-10, preparing snacks, working in the library, and cleaning up at the end of each day.

• Assisted with coaching and supervising children at soccer camps, helping younger players to develop their skills and love for the game.

• Worked with design team to develop and innovate prospective clothing.
• Participated in fittings and photoshoots.
• Objectively commented on fit and design of garments and aided in confirming that designs met designers' intentions.
