Measurements of Determinants of Imported Wines' Price in China

• Applied an in-depth understanding of economic theory and econometrics knowledge to analyze factors related to the price of imported wines within the Chinese market.
• Synthesized large sets of data from several online platforms and current literature to have an overview of the Chinese imported wine market and the potential influencing factors, collected248 imported wines from large retail markets and wine importers and classified them based on their prices, country of origin, winery, and aroma characteristics.
• Quantified those factors and created regression equations using Stata and EViews to analyze the correlation between each factor and the wine price, applied histograms, table of statistics principal component analysis, variance contribution table, and linear regression analysis to discuss the model.
