  • Maintains and Monitors All Current Quality Programs: GMP, HACCP, Prerequisite Programs, BRC.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the facility, production, non-production equipment, and personnel practices. Identify non-conformances and confidently address them for change and corrective action.
  • Conduct pathogen swabbing for Salmonella spp. and Listeria spp. on food contact surfaces.
  • Conduct ATP and allergen swabbing to verify the cleaning process. If any residues are found, production cannot start.
  • Report any Food Safety (FS)/Quality issues to the Manager of Food Safety to address concerns with Production, Maintenance, Warehousing, or Purchasing management. Document findings in a clear and concise format.
  • Perform regular CCP X-ray checks and handle X-ray rejects.
  • Conduct GMP checks and take remedial actions to correct non-conformances of production staff or any person entering the production area.
  • Document all non-conformances in the daily report and report them for analysis, tracking, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct training, huddle meetings, and retraining exercises for Food Safety and Quality non-conformances, as well as new or updated procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain the Glass and Plastic internal audit and calibration program.
  • Conduct periodic line checks of ingredient scaling, mixing, packing, and storing.
  • Verify lot numbers, product information, and complete daily QC/QA check sheets.
  • Conduct finished product sampling and testing at the beginning, middle, and end of production runs.
  • Place on hold any non-compliant ingredients, finished products, packaging, or WIP (Work In Progress)
  • Conduct internal premises inspections (inside and outside) to identify structural issues (cracks, gaps, holes, etc.) and pest control concerns.
  • Calibrate and verify the X-ray machine's functioning before and during production by adjusting the sensitivity/program.
  • Verify all certifications (including Kosher, NON-GMO, Organic, RSPO, and GFCO) during reception or sampling.
