I have worked in 7 00-bed hospital with 12 active bedded CCU.

• Management and care of critically ill patients (acute MI, ARDS, HTN, post angioplasties and Angiography, post valve replacement surgery, post CABG, heart failure, STEMI, NSTEMI, septic shock, stroke, DKA, and coronary artery disease.)
• Supported patients through recovery from procedures such as angioplasty, Thrombectomy, Fasciotomy, Catheter assisted Thrombolysis (EKOS), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endo vascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR), Mitral Clip and pacemaker surgery.
• Delivery of quality care to variety of diagnoses necessitating supportive measures including , mechanical ventilation, pacemaker management, intra-aortic balloon pump and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, extensive wound care, and rehabilitation while adhering to hospital policies and protocols,
• Continuous heart monitoring and diagnosis of any dysrhythmias with ECG informed doctors and treatments for life-threatening arrhythmia.

• Delegate tasks during rapid response and high-pressure code situations to RNs and LPNs.

Every nurse staff were responsible of cath lab and angiography unit for two shifts.

• Track oxygenation, Vital sign during procedures.
• Prepare and care patients for Cardiac Catheterization, Pacemaker Insertion, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Monitor telemetry, epidural and PCA pumps.

• Deliver bedside care to patients in busy 12-bed ICU unit for trauma, post-surgical like head trauma cases, brain strokes, aneurism, abdominal and Orthopedic and heart surgery. Every staff was responsible for two patients every shifts.
• Monitoring , assessment and record vital signs ,level of consciousness, Intra cranial pressure, pupils size , pain, Intake and output, blood and urine sample every 6 hours in medical sheet and notified physicians in case of abnormalities.
• Management and care of enteral tubes(NG, G-Tube), central lines catheter, swan Ganz catheter, Foley catheters, bedsores, wounds, external traction,
• Check ABG (Arterial Blood Gas) in patients, and adjusting ventilator settings based on test results is typically done in consultation with anesthesiologist and notified physicians.
• Ensuring that ventilators, monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly
• Deliver consistent updates to patients, their primary and specialist doctors, and their family members.
