• 7/7 Schedule 11 hrs shifts underground at the New Afton Mine Outside Kamloops.
• Currently running dewatering for the Rehab crew, monitoring 3 140Hp Grindex Mega H’s
• Running scoop for road work, mucking slimes, loading trucks, towing drills, building pads.
• Cablebolting to increase ground control into intersections as well as lead ins to the drawbells for the block cave process.
• Grouting, pushing cables, tensioning cables to print.
• Hanging fans, building bulkheads and Zacon door frames, pouring floors for production drifts.

• 7/7 Schedule 13 hour shifts
• Safe operations of Caterpillar 793F and Komatsu 1500 haul trucks in the open pit
• Understanding policies procedures and safety protocols in the pit as well as with running the truck.
• Responsible for some but not all maintenance is to the truck at start, during and at the end of every shift.
• Using good communication between other operators and light vehicles in the pit to ensure the days were incident free.

Job consists of operating underground heavy equipment, moving gear, assisting others when duties were completed. Later moved to LHD Operator full time.

13 hour shifts, tasks included filling out field level risk assessments, daily inspection of worksite and equipment before use. (Clean tracks on excavator, check guards on tools, top up machines and grease.) keeping and maintaining a clean work space.
