I am compassionate and focused. I love working on a team and teaching people how to stay safe and swim better. I love being around children and connecting with people of all backgrounds.
For two weeks, I worked with other group members to build a school in Zimbabwe. I could jump around and fulfill any role required, such as moving bricks, mixing concrete/ mortar, and even teaching the kids who attended the school. It was tough work and I got along very well with the group members and the kids. Overall, it was a very difficult but rewarding experience.
