Project management assistant

As a civil engineering specialist in charge of developing and monitoring the implementation of housing and other urban infrastructures construction's projects :

  • I successfully coordinated construction of over 135 social housing units in various regions in cameroon, the projects aimed at building affordable housing units, social facilities including water boreholes, toilets and wastewater collection equipment in slums.


I was as well responsible for :


  • Analyzing general information, selecting materials and developing various technical solutions, and proposing integrated designs and models.
  • Researching the best practices and proposing new, more effective ways of designing affordable housing for communities affected by crises and low-income workers in the city
  • Developing, applying, and managing processes and methods of work in low-carbon housing/municipal infrastructures project.
  • Learning, understanding, and transferring basic knowledge of organizational policies and procedures relating to affordable housing and public infrastructure and consistently applying them in work tasks.


I successfully supervised the project preparation and the construction of 158 water boreholes in 83 districts in Cameroon, aiming at reducing infections in health facilities and providing clean water to communities :


  • Developing project terms of reference and tender documents
  • Preparing draft of standard documents and project roadmaps
  • Following up the recruitment of implementing partners
  • Estimating quantities for contract items and budgeting
  • Reviewing contractor submittals for adherence to technical specifications on construction projects
  • Supervising preliminary site visits and studies and initiating coordination meetings
  • Coordinating construction site supervision missions to verify infrastructures and documenting experience and other conditions
  • Coordinating the elaboration of reports and construction documents, together with focal points in various regions.


I supported the implementation of projects aiming at providing basic infrastructures services to vulnerable communities :


  • Supporting tenure analysis and land demarcations for construction projects implementation.
  • Designing housing solutions and other basic infrastructures.
  • Ensuring alignment of projects with local context and beneficiaries needs.
