As a PCA, I support nurses by assisting patients with daily care, taking vital signs, helping with mobility, and ensuring patients are safe and comfortable during their hospital stay. Working in the float pool department has allowed me to gain experience in a multitude of specialties, including Tele/Med-Surg, the Emergency Department, ICU, PACU, PCU, and other units.

As a CNA in a nursing home, I assisted residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility. I monitored and recorded vital signs, helped reposition and transfer residents safely, and worked closely with the nursing team to ensure residents were comfortable and receiving quality care.
