ACCOMPLISHMENTS

During my tenure as a history teacher, I have had the pleasure of serving on many educational committees. They range from site leadership, such as the WASC and School Site Council, to district and curriculum committees, including the Fresno High School Task Force, the Marzano committee, and the Social Science Pacing Guide and Benchmark Committee. I have also been a Fresno Teachers Association Union Representative for 26 years. In 2007, I was honored to receive the California League of High Schools' Educator of the Year award for Region 7 in California. I have also been published in the McDougal Littell Modern World History textbook, where I served on the Multicultural Advisory Board.
