Accomplishments

  • During my tenure as a history teacher, I have had the pleasure of serving on many educational committees. They range from site leadership, such as WASC and School Site Council, to district and curriculum committees such as The Fresno High School Task Force, Marzano and The Social Science Pacing Guide and Benchmark Committee. I have also been a Fresno Teachers Association Union Representative for 19 years. In 2007 I was fortunate to be awarded the California League of High School’s Educator of the Year award for Region 7 in California. I have also been published in the McDougal Littell Modern World History textbook where I served on the Multicultural Advisory Board.
