In this position I will contribute my acquired skills and knowledge to assist a certified Plumber and uphold their expectations.

Plumbing & Mechanical Installation

• Measure, cut, and install piping systems (PVC, copper, ABS) with proper connections and fittings
• Read and interpret plumbing blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical specification
• Proficient with plumbing-specific tools: pipe wrenches, cutters, threaders, and torches
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers) with proper sealing and alignment
• Familiar with pipe threading, soldering, and joining techniques for different materials
• Understand drainage systems and proper venting requirements

Safety & Compliance

• Strict adherence to Ontario Plumbing Code and job site safety standards
• Proper use of PPE including gloves, goggles, and respirators when required
• Safe handling and disposal of plumbing materials and waste
• Working at Heights Training
• Safely lift and maneuver heavy materials using proper techniques
• Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards

Customer service

• Listen attentively to customer needs and provide tailored solutions
• Resolve issues efficiently using critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Greet guests in a friendly and respectful manner
• Communicate clearly with strong interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport
• Handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally
