Though just having two experiences as a club president and front desk manager, I’ve gained so much experience and skills when working. I’m a very coachable person and I’m always open to feedback to improve on myself. Additionally, I am able to speak two of the most spoken language in the world, English and Chinese. This advantage allows me to bring even more people into our community and communicate with those who come in. I hope to gain more work experience as I go into the workforce and tie our community together.
I was a founder of a literature club at my school and taught me very valuable organization skills and leadership. From organizing club events, donations, and meetings to reaching out to companies and different universities to work with. Running this club has given me a lot of valuable experience.
I worked as a front desk manager at a taekwondo center. I organized files of each student there, received payments from parents, check in all of the kids that had class that day, as well as make the weekly schedule for students as-well. This job has taught me a lot about staying organized and social skills when interacting with costumers. I have gained a lot of work experience here as it was one of my first jobs that I was able to do.
