• Promoted to a pharmacy day technician supervisor leadership role to ensure proper procedures and policies are followed in sterile and non-sterile compounding areas.
• Created a department wide day/evening technician block schedule for over 75 employees. This was accomplished with a dynamic excel spreadsheet that I developed myself utilizing excel functions. Technicians now have a set schedule to better promote quality of life.
• Created an excel spreadsheet to capture an individual's cost of waste while sterile compounding. This helps identify where training needs to be improved. This continues to help with cost savings in our department.
• Played a vital role in developing an emergency IV low risk segregated compounding area (SCA).
• Trained pharmacists and technicians on how to use Simplifi 797 to make it easier for staff to know their work expectations.
• Worked with other technician supervisors on hiring and on-boarding new technicians.
• Efficiently trained Army troops on Air Force pharmacy procedures in a deployed location.
