Yiyun Chen

I am a highly motivated and progress-focused four-year Media, Film, & Communications student in Lakehead University. Throughout the course of my major, I have fine-tuned my video editing and shooting abilities. I am a capable and consistent problem-solver skilled at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency.

• Assisted with and organized the year’s Media Art Showcase in Lakehead University, such as assisting with the coordinator of Media, Film and Communication, organizing artworks on the easels and making photo plates.
• Assisted with and organized publicity activities in OMAH, such as taking pictures with cameras and editing them, making t-shirts, preparing activities, selling event tickets.
• Assisted with and organized publicity activities in the School library, such as assisting library teachers, organizing books on the shelves and setting up iPads activities for kids.
• Volunteered at the 13th MLES International Education Fair (Yiwu) in fall semester (September to January) in 2017. I made posters, provided customer service, and translated for teachers and parents of students.
• Participated as a volunteer in administering the 2016 Summer School, helping new students to get used to the high school environment. After finishing the first session, I joined the second session, so I participated in the volunteer work for two times. As a volunteer, I helped new students with various problems and organized school activities.
