Team Project: Time tracking Web Application to track the time employees spend on various tasks and projects for Saskatchewan Polytechnic Faculty Association 2019-2021

• Test driven development by implementing end to end test, UI test and object Unit test
• Optimized UI by dragging and dropping tasks to Calendar for creating time record convenience
• Integrated Vue frontend and API-platform backend technology
• Use Symfony and MySQL for backend database persistence; Vue, Bootstrap, JavaScript for frontend design
• Upload the web application to cloud VPS Server to provide web service, including Mailing
• Configure Linux server and keep updating

Team Project: Machine Learning algorithm development for Cameco 2020-2024

• Extract Data from text and Excel files, Transform and Load (ETL) data to neo4j Database.
• Clean, integrate and visualize the data with Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib
• Analyze data with Statistics tools, including t-Test, Clustering, and Bayesian Network
• Deploy ML algorithm with Cameco’s mining process, including Decision Tree and Random Forest
• Evaluate Supervised/Unsupervised Machine Learning model to generate valuable predication
• Develop API based on Python flask framework and neo4j Graph Database
• Build Data Pipeline between Google Storage and Google Database Server
• Deploy the final web ML APP on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) VMs and Google Cloud RUN with latest Docker Container tools

Team Project: Fire and Smoke Image Annotation 2023-2024

• Make Image Augmentation with OpenCV and Numpy, to manipulate images with detective objects
• Train Image labeling model with YOLOv7, YOLOv9 and Darknet architecture
• Label detective objects in images with Label Studio framework
• Build up Data Warehouse on AWS cloud data services, using buto3 for data ETL.

• Make Image Augmentation by flipping, translation and rotation to manipulate images with detective objects
• Train Image labeling model with YOLOv8
• Label detective objects in images with CVAT framework
• Developed comprehensive research plans, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Provided training and guidance to junior researchers, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Regularly updated project stakeholders on progress through detailed reports and presentations, fostering transparency in communications.
