Yilin Wang

Yilin Wang was born in Beijing, China, 2000, currently residing in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is an animator and painter specializing in 2D/3D animation, character design, digital illustration, etc. Yilin is about to graduate from OCAD University with a bachelor’s degree in Animation. From junior high school to university, she has consistently practiced fine arts, such as sketching and acrylic painting. Her preferred art style combines traditional hand-drawing with digital media. Inspired by her personal growth experiences and the works of some independent animators who oppose patriarchy and advocate feminism, her works mainly explore themes such as the original family, feminism, and self-exploration.
