During my first clinical rotation, I had a moment that was both stressful and a little funny. I was assessing a patient who suddenly looked uncomfortable and kept pulling at their oxygen. At first, I thought something serious was wrong, but then I noticed the tubing was completely twisted and blocking the flow. After fixing it, the patient immediately felt better and said, “Oh, I can finally breathe!” We both laughed, and it reminded me how small things can make a big difference. This experience taught me to stay calm, pay attention to details, and always check the simple things first before assuming a bigger problem.
