Workload Migration (WLM) Program facilitates the migration of government applications from aging legacy data centers to modern, more secure and reliable solutions - whether cloud, state-of-the-art enterprise data centre (EDC) or a hybrid of the two. The ultimate purpose is to migrate department workloads to reliable, modern, and secure hosting options. More specifically, the WLM Program will: enable a new generation of digital service delivery offerings to Canadians; ensure that existing government applications are migrated off aging, vulnerable IT infrastructure; deliver on the government's vision of a modern, digitally enabled public service, as well as the drive to prioritize cloud based computing

Responsibilities:

• Provide infrastructure and ensure consistency in how solutions are engineered
• Lead various windows modernization programs
• Collaborate and ensure the strategic alignment and operation of the IT Refresh and Repair Program on behalf of DCSB
• As the Business Sponsor, provide oversight, coordination and support for Workload Migration and two EDC IT Establishment projects
• Integrate all SSC IT infrastructure components into a centralized 'Enterprise' operational data store (ODS) to support enterprise business systems
• Responsible for scheduling various projects at different gates to satisfy technical requirements and funding associated
• Participation of daily scrum meetings with project team
• Report development including communication plan, work plan and presentations for multiple stakeholders for the Enclave Evolution initiative within ESIM
• Participation of Workload Migration Updates meeting with senior executive
• Development of SDDC work plan and development of project plan for cloud implementation
• Manage and maintain procurement plans such that all project resources, hardware and software are procured
• Oversee the project team to ensure deliverables are produced on schedule.

In evolving to the principle of 'cloud smart', the government of Canada will rationalize application portfolios and align to the most appropriate hosting model. • Creation of change management work plan and critical path to identify next steps in the Cloud Strategy Updates Initiative
• Development of communication and stakeholder engagement plans with risk controls
• This project is in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and partners so as to provide organizational leadership
• Communicating the guidelines to appropriate stakeholders
• Facilitating cross-departmental collaboration necessary for change management
• Implementation of planned improvements using RACI matrix, GC Cloud Guardrail Validation documents and defining roles and responsibilities as a response to the report from the Auditor General of Canada (OAG)

Development of the Change Management Process document for the Earth Observation Service Continuity Initiative (EOSC). The Earth Observation Service Continuity Project (EOSC) is a solution-agnostic process seeking to determine the most effective combination of dedicated system, commercial data purchase, and data trade with international partners to meet Canada's needs while maintaining its leadership. Success in space missions depends on the definition of achievable requirements and the development, production, collaboration, launch and operation of systems that conform to these requirements. A Change Management Process (CMP) is fundamental to these processes and essential for minimizing risk and maintaining organization stability within an industry.
Responsibilities:

• Identify and define organizational processes, procedures and tools associated with project management planning process groups and build a Project Management Plan (PMP)
• This also includes Project Management Process Mapping & Analysis
• Analysis of risk management including risk identification, risk quantification, risk response development and risk response control, change management process, including quality planning, quality assurance and quality control

Polar Epsilon 2 will use data from the next generation of Canadian Earth-observation satellites. The data obtained from the RADARSAT Constellation Mission will be used for various surveillance needs ranging from monitoring of ice flows within Canada's coastal waters, providing surveillance of Canada's ocean approaches; monitoring environmental conditions, such as floods and forest fires; and managing and mapping natural resources in Canada and around the world.
Responsibilities:

• Concluded all activities for project closure and project life cycle to formally complete the Polar Epsilon 2 project
• Coordinated handover deliverables to the customer, passed documentation to the business, archived all relevant documents, canceled supplier contracts, informed stakeholders of the closure of the project and provided updated project plans and maps
• This included post-implementation reviews such as the project's success and identifying lessons learned documents
• Lead project teams and supply chain management activities for high-value project requirements in accordance with established policies, directives and/or procedures
• Monitored activities related to materiel management processes to ensure programs and services are being effectively delivered within the legislative framework governing each business line
• Advised senior management regarding business roadmaps using artificial intelligence and various platforms such as Microsoft Project
• Wrote several reports and briefing notes regarding the new implementation of digital innovation by attending working group meetings on digital transformation for senior staff
• Develop training materials and memos for other staff to archive documents and ensure safety and security practices in place
• Also, provide policies and procedures as training materials for the team to ensure cohesiveness and teamwork

The Wireless Applications and Systems Research team performs wireless telecommunications R&D that advances the efficient exploitation of the radio spectrum, and serves as the government's leading source of scientific knowledge and long-term technical advice for spectrum management, regulation and policy purposes.
Responsibilities:

• Support critical wireless telecommunications operational requirements of Government of Canada departments and agencies, such as National Defence and Public Safety
• Take part in strategic R&D collaborations that leverage CRC 's activities, resulting in knowledge and technology transfer, to the benefit of Canadian industry, the economy and Canadians
