Yasaman gained her master’s degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry, where she accumulated over two years of experience as a research assistant, teaching assistant, and course instructor. Through managing students and leading academic projects, she developed strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. During her laboratory research, she worked on a project involving a 10-year-old patient with cystic fibrosis, which deepened her love for patient interaction and her passion for helping people, even from behind the bench. These experiences strengthened her commitment to patient-centered care. Yasaman has published one review article, and three additional manuscripts have been accepted and are currently awaiting publication. She is now pursuing her PharmD at the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy, where she aims to integrate her scientific background with compassionate, evidence-based healthcare delivery.
