Yasaman Ameriyan

Motivated second-year Biology student at the University of British Columbia, recognized on the Dean’s List, with a passion for pursuing a career in medicine. I am Fluent in both English and Persian. I possess strong communication skills, honed through hands-on experience volunteering at a hospital in Iran, where I learned a lot about patient care and administrative tasks. I have also worked at the front desk of a medical office, managing appointments and providing customer service. Additionally, I have tutored high school students in math and science, simplifying complex concepts to help them succeed. I also worked as a cashier in a sports clothing store, gaining valuable customer service experience. I am also very good at cooking and crafting new drinks since I love matcha, coffee, and home cooked meals. My ability to explain concepts clearly, assist others, and work effectively in diverse environments makes me a strong candidate for various roles where I can contribute my skills and enthusiasm.
