Summary

Hi, I'm Daisy, I’m a licensed EMR working part-time for BCEHS. I joined the organization in February 2023. As a part-time EMR, I’ve been filling in for all kinds of shifts, whether it’s trauma car or transfer car, day shifts or night shifts. I enjoy working in the ambulance, delivering patient care, and being part of patients' journeys. However, I’m also curious about other aspects of emergency health services, such as emergency medical call-taking. I want to learn about the planning and coordination stages that occur before an event is generated and appears on the CAD. Ultimately, I hope to work full-time as an Interfacility Emergency Medical Call Taker.
