I’ve always been eager to get out into the world, work hard, and build real connections. I started helping my dad with landscaping jobs around Merced when I was younger, which gave me a strong work ethic and showed me the value of hands-on effort. At 16, I got my first job at Walmart because I wanted to gain experience early and start building skills I could carry with me. I worked there as a frontend cashier from June 2023 to July 2024, then took some time off to focus on finishing my Highschool diploma. I returned in July 2025 and have been working there since, now balancing the job with college.
In high school, I played tennis during my senior year at Golden Valley and was ranked #4 on the team. Now, I’m working toward becoming a firefighter — a path that lets me stay active, challenge myself, and give back to the community in a meaningful way.
