- Extracted peptide bonds from protein using hydrolysis and enzymes, to find which method best works for food
- Conducted experiments through UV spectrophotometry
- Conducted own research on the process of dye filtration using wheat biochar; presented findings to 100+ people for the Science on the Street festival, downtown St. John's NL
- Performed column and batch testing to filter chemicals such as ammonium, nitrates, and phosphates out of polluted solutions to test efficient methods that can be used in the real world
