Being able to work as a team and persist through challenges aboard the Okeanos Explorer that relate to my major is something I value. my current experience as an Aquarist Assistant at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History: Sea Center has provided me with unique skills such as interpreting to the public, closely working with a professional to ensure the welfare of animals, and being responsible for the completion of necessary tasks.
