I am a Grade 12 student at Pickering College with a strong passion for architecture and design. As the Founder and President of the Photography Club, I have developed leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills while fostering a creative and engaging environment for my peers. Additionally, my experience as a freelance photographer has refined my attention to detail, spatial awareness, and ability to communicate visually—skills that are highly relevant to architectural design.
I further expanded my knowledge through SCI-Arc’s Design Immersion Days (DID) program, where I engaged in hands-on architectural projects, explored digital design tools, and collaborated with like-minded peers. This experience reinforced my curiosity, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to pursuing architecture at the university level.
I am eager to gain exposure to the architectural field through mentorship or internship opportunities. With a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and a keen interest in learning, I am confident that this experience will allow me to deepen my understanding of the profession while contributing my creativity and dedication in a meaningful way.
The Youth Scholastic Awards - Silver Key for Photography recognizes exceptional photographic talent among high school students across the world. Recipients are celebrated for their creative vision, technical skill, and ability to tell compelling stories through their images.
