My responsibilities as a seventh grade Humanities teacher are creating a structured learning environment, planning lessons according to the Curriculum of the Province of British Columbia, as well as fostering student growth. Analyzing assessment data, maintain grading records, and regular communication with parents are also some of the significant duties involved with this position.

• For 13 months, I was trained in driving the Cat 785, 789, 793 as well as the 830 Komatsu haul trucks
• This was an amazing and extremely challenging change for me, one that I enjoy greatly
• Duties include inspecting, operating and cleaning haul trucks, ensuring safety of myself as well as my co-workers and driving for long periods of time
• As well as many other responsibilities such as, paperwork, timekeeping, safety meetings and constant awareness.

• Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups
• Enforce school and class rules to help teach students proper behavior
• Help teachers with recordkeeping, such as tracking attendance and calculating grades using knowledge of basic computer skills
• Experience with FASD and behavioural students
• Skilled in the Levelled Literacy Intervention Program with two years experience as a Levelled Literacy Intervention EA with successful outcomes
• Two years experience working with junior high students
• Working one on one and in small groups doing modified work, scribing, reading and math
• Three years experience as a classroom EA in grades 1 through 6
• Working in a classroom setting, aiding the teacher, sub coverage, pull out programs, one on one, small groups and supervision
• Trained in Sensory Therapy and Theraplay.
