Additional Information

Since I moved with my family to Canada in 1990, I landed as an entrepreneur in Edmonton, Alberta.

I started a small frozen food manufacturer in 1990 and business sold it in 1998.

I was invited as a Key partner together with a team including Hon. Don Getty, international group and professional from 1997 - 2000. We were started to develop and marketing the world class tower technology malting plant with Canadian technology to China as well as the brewing business by selling high grade malt as key chains supplier targeting the new C$200 million investment. We were invited 14 groups from China to Edmonton. Those groups included city government and private groups such as Beijing, Chonghing, etc. We selected a private group from Tsing Tao, China to start our preliminary physibility study by Stantec, Edmonton. Also Stantec interested to work with Chinese government on their water and sewage treatment project.

In 2000, a local public group of technology companies invited me to explore, invest C$5 million and transfer their tower internet businesses in Alberta cities.

I started my own consulting business named Ventech Communications in 1997 until 2024. Including my coffee business with HK 7-Eleven, etc. for 5 years.

I retired in 2024. Although I’m 66 today but I should come back to business since I have over 45 years experience in international and retailing business, management and franchising that’s why HK 7-Eleven are so successful with over 1000 stores in Hong Kong over 40 years, over 55% are franchise as well as 500 stores in China in 10 years.

My experience was built three 7-Eleven stores in a month, 259 stores merchandising project, operations and marketing. In one year I built 11 furniture and household stores before moving.
