  • As a member of Shoelace's senior management team, advises on overall business and employee retention/engagement strategies, provides coaching and support for all levels of employees in the business, and acts as a champion for employee's feedback and rights
  • Total ownership over recruitment (including during the pandemic and the "great resignation"); building and maintaining internal ATS systems (Monday.com and Notion), managing hundreds of applicants a week, hiring for 5+ roles at a time, providing applicants with a transparent, quick, and (hopefully) friendly hiring process
  • In 2022 owned all change management as Shoelace transitioned from a "tech-enabled-service" to a marketing agency. This included: onboarding and training an entirely new senior management team, overseeing initiatives to replace a 12 person turnover, and ensuring the strong company culture remained intact
  • Saw the company through the pandemic leading all corporate comms, transitioning to a remote first environment, launching countless initiatives to drive an inclusive and positive culture at Shoelace, and creating processes and procedures that directly impacted employee survey responses
