I am a driven, conscientious individual with a history of sales success and client servicing experience. Passionate about Cars, Bicycles and the Food industry. Relocated from the U.K to Toronto, Canada in 2021 and have recently received permanent residency. After a year in Vancouver, I’m now permanently living in Toronto.
Sales and team building successes have been evident across every role, pulling together colleagues of all levels and leading a positive and efficient atmosphere. Operationally and financially forward thinking, always looking for the most profitable direction. I thrive in a busy environment and events, expos and trade shows have featured heavily throughout my career.
After successes with real estate, I worked on building my own property portfolio. This included doing substantial renovations to a number of houses, of which some I still own as rental properties. Designing, budgeting and project managing the renovations myself, this was a challenging but highly rewarding undertaking.
Soon after joining the team, I made my skill set apparent by achieving substantial sales numbers as well as excellent customer retention. This allowed me to become more creative with marketing strategy and develop my understanding for operations within the business. Within a very short time of joining the business, I had sold the highest number of bikes by a Sales Specialist in a single day in the stores history, 5 bikes totaling over $20,000. This was key in moving on to a managerial role.
I joined the Collecting Cars team as they moved into the North American market. In my role as a Consignment Specialist, I secured excellent auction results with a sell-through rate high above the rest of the team and totaling over $500,000 in total sales. Successfully managed high net worth buyers and sellers in navigating the auction process. I project managed car events including budgets, pre and post event activities.
My role included overseeing sales operation for the Toronto store. I enjoyed this role as it allowed me to utilise a passion for cycling to grow opportunities in both sales and on-going customer support in a buoyant but challenging market. I implemented and developed sales practices, successfully maximising both sales efficiency and customer experience. I was consistently hitting above sales targets within the team.
Successfully worked independently and as part of the larger Amazon Logistics team, ensuring delivery deadlines were met, and customer satisfaction maintained within strict cost parameters.
I was proud to be an integral part of this exclusive and prestigious team during a period of massive expansion. Maximising profit, closing sales and successfully instigating customer engagement through several consumer channels. I was a key player in the day to day running of the business.
Instrumental in increasing profits and generating a recurring customer base in my time with The King’s Head. This was mostly achieved through marketing development and product diversification.
Succeeding as an individual and as part of a larger team, my role went far beyond closing deals. Working with colleagues across a wide dealer network, I fostered strong relationships with some interdepartmental conflicts requiring excellent diplomacy. I made myself an essential part of the team and was able to pivot and support many areas of the business. On my first full month with the company I outsold all other members of the team, many with vastly more experience in this field.
As Head Chef, I was the driving force behind lifting the business to the number one restaurant in the area. My role centered on encouraging and maintaining a profitable, enjoyable and efficient working environment. It included purchasing, troubleshooting and liaising with many suppliers. Through consistent negotiations, I managed to maximise profits of the company.
I have a full G driving license in Canada and a full UK driving license. In Canada I have been driving for 3 years, in the UK for over 10 years with no claims. I run two cars of my own.
