  • Company Overview: HELT designs, engineers, fabricates, and installs European style entrance systems for the upscale domestic, commercial and industrial market. In close association with architects, designers, developers and individual clients, HELT provides unique custom fabricated products to the North American Marketplace.
  • Initially hired to formulate and execute enhanced business development strategies. As a result of the efforts in three years annual revenues have grown by 300%
  • After six months of employment the two owners of HELT offer me the position of CEO
  • In addition to overall management, I am responsible for onsite project management, initial contact with prospective clients, presentation of quotations, consultations with our outside accountants, new hires, and daily briefings with management to ensure sound organizational planning and ongoing mentorship
  • Responsible for the complete renovation of our design studio

  • Spearheaded marketing and sales initiatives are designed to penetrate the privately held business market. Engaged directly with more than 1300 business owners across the country. Conducted numerous seminars on behalf of trade associations, with the emphasis on achieving exceptional capital opportunities for growing and mature companies.
  • Directly managed and executed hundreds of presentations that included complex financial analysis, unique multi-faceted strategies, and solutions, as well as hands-on project management to the point of implementation.
  • Provided liaison between the owners and their advisory team, often introducing specialists in the legal or financial sectors as required.
  • On many occasions provided consultations and mentorship for owners dealing with difficult issues related to succession or transition planning, retirement or estate distribution, trust creation, and financial restructuring advisory for the goal of achieving liquidity.
  • Created a specialized training program for financial advisors seeking knowledge and field skills related specifically to the private business marketplace. The curriculum is comprised of 7 modules or 28 hours of in-depth instruction that comprises theoretical knowledge, actual case studies, and field application tools which include a unique discovery and scoring process necessary to achieve maximum results.
  • Formally, a member of the Elite 30 Group which represents the top 1% of financial advisors in each Managing General Agency out of approximately 4000 financial advisors across the country.
  • In 2011-12 was the #1 producing advisor in Canada out of a network of 4000 advisory groups.

Over the years I have had a variety of interests, Weightlifting, Mixed Martial Arts, obtained my Certification in Scuba Diving and became a Licensed Pilot

For the past 25 years in the pure-bred dog world and we plan on attending many more events while continuing to develop and promote world-class pure-bred dogs currently share our home with four pure-bred Bull Terriers Our youngest is just beginning her show career in 2025 while our eldest is retired and doing a great job of pet companionship Our other female is actively showing and last year achieved her ACK Champion status and hopefully with attain her CKC Championship Our one male, Nigel is on sabbatical for most of 2025 in preparation for the resumption of his show career next year in the Veterans Class Nigel has had a storied show career with some exceptional highlights In 2023 he anchored the USA Team when they won the International Country Competition in the Netherlands This was the first time the USA Team won this prestigious competition In the same year he won the Bull Terrier Club of Canada National Specialty Show 2024 was his capstone year when he won the Bull Terrier Club of America National Specialty Show and the coveted Silverwood Trophy Show designating him the best English Bull Terrier in North America for that year During his five-year show career, he has received four invitations to the prestigious annual Westminster Kennel Club Show in New York City
