This marks my inaugural international opportunity, a source of immense pride for me. I have assumed the role of Senior Front End Developer tasked with overseeing the framework migration for one of the largest print management systems in the US, specifically for Staples. While a significant portion of my efforts has been concentrated on the front end, this journey has proven to be a remarkable experience, allowing me to leverage my expertise in reconstructing a robust system for the company. Developed intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web applications using ReactJS and other frameworks. I Collaborated with cross-functional teams to design and implement highly efficient frontend solutions. Actively contributed to the adoption of best practices in UI/UX design and web service implementation.
A year and a half later, I felt the need for a change and a breath of fresh air, prompting my decision to embrace a new challenge at CVC Corp, a prominent travel company in Brazil and Latin America. Motivated by my desire for fresh experiences within large corporations, I sought to understand the dynamics of extensive teams and intricate development pipelines. My current role provides me with the opportunity to delve into Next, Kubernetes, and enhance my soft skills.
After a period of time, my former supervisor and the CEO of 3MW initiated a new venture named HyperSpace. Leveraging our longstanding and positive association from 3MW, he extended an offer for me to join his new endeavor, an opportunity I readily accepted. The core concept revolves around providing consulting services to various companies. What sets us apart is our unique approach of assisting these companies in establishing an in-house IT department within our business framework. This involves guiding them through the implementation of agile processes, undertaking recruitment, facilitating training, and spearheading the development of software with our newly onboarded team. Essentially, we act as mentors, showcasing effective practices in IT and software development.
I joined this company shortly before the closure of 3MW, as we had previously collaborated. In my role as a developer, I faced the significant challenge of expanding and sustaining the team's growth. The pressing demands from the tech projects market necessitated our attention, compelling us to empower the team with increased autonomy.
In this position, I initially joined as an Engineer. Within a year, I earned a promotion to Senior Front End. Subsequently, my responsibilities expanded to overseeing all company projects. While I didn't directly develop each project, my role evolved to understanding project objectives and assisting fellow programmers in selecting the optimal development approach. The technologies employed varied based on the context, with projects often implemented using Angular, Ionic, or Vue.
In this position, my primary responsibility was overseeing the TAM Brazilian account. I crafted promotional newsletters for travel and orchestrated campaigns on promotional sites for TAM clients, catering to both regular and VIP clientele. Following a year in this role, I earned a promotion to Engineer and transitioned to working with Vivo. As part of my new responsibilities, I assumed a technical leadership role within a specific team segment. This involved selecting the appropriate programs for a given project and determining the optimal approach for its development.
In this capacity, my primary responsibility involved developing a web system designed to display the call status within a Teleperformance call center. Prior to this initiative, the call center relied on Excel for generating reports. Working alongside two Back-End developers, I, as the sole Front-End developer, took the initiative to build the system using SCSS and Backbone. Our first release materialized within three months, and its implementation significantly enhanced the productivity of various departments.
In this role, the tasks were reminiscent of my previous position. However, the notable difference was the scale of the team, which was significantly larger than my previous experience. Throughout this period, I honed my skills in programming logic and gained proficiency in utilizing jQuery and jQueryUI to provide support for completed projects and Cordova applications.
My initial role as a developer served as a foundational learning experience. During the first two months, I delved into the fundamentals, covering topics such as servers, internet workings, and basic web principles. Subsequently, I transitioned to crafting email marketing campaigns for clients. By the fourth month, I advanced to constructing websites and systems, employing vanilla JavaScript and pure CSS in the development process.
Throughout this experience, I assumed diverse roles aligned with the program's objectives, with a more prolonged tenure in the Human Resources and Finance Department. In this capacity, my primary responsibilities revolved around aiding employees with various tasks, including document organization, processing payment requests, managing timesheets, and handling other related duties.
