Lead diverse productivity studies to ensure tonnage goals are achieved, ie. haul truck scale studies.
Lead mining technology projects on client's sites by developing strategic plans (gantt charts, excels) to allocate resources efficiently and meet deadlines, ie. Driver Safety System on haul trucks.
Visit mine site to monitor and coordinate project implantation to ensure objectives are met, ie. commissioning of Command for Underground.
Identify and anticipate risks, implementing proactive solutions to prevent disruptions, ie. make a list of possible issues and preparing for the worst case.
Identify, design, and test the chosen technology, including the belt filter, decanter, and thermal dryer
Develop and update project plans to meet objectives and financial constraints
Maintain clear communication with the team to quickly identify and resolve issues
Use the PI System network (Vision, Explore) to create graphs for production analysis.
Analyze production data to find issues to drive continuous improvement, ie. aluminum blend concentrations.
Participate in production study and use data to simulate problems within production, ie. oven temperature simulation.
Monitor and execute mining process controls on different projects, ie. lixiviation of input ore.
Conduct lab experiments to identify mineral properties and optimal treatments, ie. pH, concentrations tests.
Develop best practices reports and safety procedures for equipment utilization, ie. press filter utilization guide.
Document daily production data and submits accurate time logs to keep management updated.
Make sure machines are well configured for various tasks to maintain manufacturing thresholds and waste reduction initiatives.
Verify compliance with quality and design standards.
