Since my start with Safeway I have assumed many different roles. The skills and experience I have gained are below.

• Listened to customer needs and desires to identify and recommend optimal products.
• Trained new employees to provide knowledge of proper grocery/produce handling and rotation procedures.
• Followed proper procedure when being the person in charge of locking up the store.
• Unloading heavy pallets of produce to prepare them for display.
• Build and maintain front ends that are neat and easy for customers to shop.

For the past two summers I took time off from Safeway to work as a laborer for RKS Canada. I made this decision so I could gain experience in a more fast-paced, physical work environment. Experience and skills gained are listed below.

• Operated equipment such as steam units, skid steers, and water trucks.
• Haul and unload material such as rig mats, drill pipe, and culverts for customers in the oilfield.
• Work collectively and efficiently with a team to accomplish goals for example, cleaning treater tanks, cleaning oilfield spills, and installing fence.
• Improved worksite efficiency by maintaining clean and organized work areas.

• Facilitated smooth gameplay by quickly making accurate decisions on penalties and infractions.
• Handled disputes calmly and effectively, diffusing tense situations between teams during matches.
• Managed time efficiently while maintaining focus on game details, ensuring rules and regulations are followed.
• Collaborated with fellow officials to ensure consistent rule interpretation throughout games.

• Improved transaction speed without sacrificing accuracy by staying up-to-date on product pricing changes.
• Monitored self-checkout systems and provided help in resolving problems.
• Operated cash register to record transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Helped customers complete purchases, locate items, and join reward programs.
