At Bruneau Electrique I worked weeks of around 55-60 hours no breaks or lunches just straight go.
On the transporting side of my job I went and brought materials all over Montreal, lanaudiere and laurentides.
I always worked alone unloaded compactors, pallets, pipes, wire spools, tool boxes, etc, alone. Always figured out news way to unloaded my stuff when a forklift/skytrack was not present on the job sites, I took care of over 20 jobs site during the week non stop, planned out my runs according to traffic and what approximate time it was going to be so I wouldn't be slowed down. within 3 months they gave me a company truck that I would use everyday to work and to go back home with.
On my Manoeuvre side of my job I would go clear out jobsites that had a bunch of junk laying around, very dirty work, when I would clear out SMT Metro jobs id be alone 50 percent of the time, carrying 50-80 pound pipes on my shoulders, would also figure out ways to carry tool boxes up, very big wooden wires reels, etc, going up tight flights of stairs non stop till my truck was fully loaded, I did that more times that I can count, never complained did what I had to do and got the job done fast and well done.
My boss trusted me 100 percent he would let me do my stuff like planning out runs and what I was going to do I always took the dirty work, so he knew he didn't have to tell me what to do, when the weeks were slower I always found work that had to be done.
I only left Bruneau Electrique to go back to school
I worked in fruits and vegetables at the Metro I would place all the products on the shelves in my ails, when the Metro the next town over were very short staffed they would send me over work there for the day, I only worked 10 hour shifts on friday and saturdays while working 4 days a week at my other job.
My task's at Excavation Glenn Stewart were every morning grease the machines that we were using that day, load and tie them down to the trailers. When we got on the job sites Id would help the operator with landscaping in place that hard to get, if we did french drains id be down in the trench digging around the foundations where the shovel couldn't get too, laying down french drain pipe and 3/4 nette everywhere around the pipe. when we did driveways id perfect the slopes with a rake then compact them. ive dug graves in grave yard with TB0-16s them gone down in the hole and perfected the sides with a shovel for the funeral and them back filled once it was over.
