Through my life I have accumulated multiple work skills and experiences despite only working one official job. Growing up my father owned a Pizza 73 in my home town Medicine Hat and later opened a brewery. At the age of 13 I had started to casually help my dad around the pizza store, sweeping floors cleaning around and just overall helping where it was needed. On top of that I feel that the majority of my life and work skills was gained through sport giving me the skills and communication abilities to form me into an excellent employee. To be more specific, two years ago now I was given the opportunity to play semi professional basketball at a prep school, Western Canada Prep Academy located here in Edmonton. This environment helped me deepen my understanding of communication, teamwork, and leadership. Through soccer, basketball, or even taekwondo the common theme throughout all of these experiences is that I was always looked to as a leader and a motivator; especially at the highest level. Playing with some of the top basketball players in Canada I was looked at as the energy booster, providing guidance and encouragement to my teammates, all while competing at the highest level. From this role, I was looked at as one of the team leaders, so much so that a nickname was born; the coaching staff as well as my teammates called me "The Mayor".
