• In addition to preforming the duties of an HVAC Estimator I was also tasked with assuring the rest of the estimating team was getting their project completed in a timely manner. I creating a SOP for estimating procedures and a detailed turnover plan for our OPS team.

• Attending job walks and pre bid meetings
• Review Plans and Specifications
• Material Take-Offs
• Obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes & verify content
• Assemble estimates, schedule and participate in company bid reviews
• Prepare and present proposals of awarded projects to upper management and field supervisor
• Maintain subcontractor and supplier data base and maintain strong vendor relationships

• Interview and hire HVAC tradesmen
• Maintaining strong relationships with our customers, vendors and subcontractor
• Prepare mechanical and plumbing budgets and bids
• Schedule and run pre bid meetings
• Attend pre construction and CAD kick off meetings
• Contracts, change orders, submittals, schedule of values and billing
• Managed and supervised employees assigned to the project
• Create employee job safety meetings
• Attend job progress meetings
