I am an Early Childhood Educator who is studying ECE at Stenberg College and graduating in March 2024. I have a co-op programme until August 2024, and then I will reach the requirement of 500 work hours and get a 5-year CEC certificate. I come from Beijing, China. I have over 15 years of experience in sales business in Beijing, which provides rich life and career experiences for me. I am easy to get along with. I am punctual, responsible, and reliable. I know how to be flexible and deal with matters that follow the principle. I could do various tasks at the same time. I think that my weakness is language. I still continue to learn and improve my English skills. Please bear with me. I enjoy working with kids, and I especially enjoy having a conversation with them, which not only teaches me language but also gives me a different perspective. And I learned a lot from them. I have volunteered with children 3-7 years old for more than three years and this has become my passion.

• There were around 15–16 kids in PK3 during my first practicum. In the first week, I recognized the staff and kids' names and learned about the daycare's policies, curriculum, schedule, and routines. And I asked my supervisor questions to make sure everything was right if I didn't know.
• I welcome the kids every morning. And I helped the teacher sort the kids' food and sample their names on the containers. As well as helping the teacher distribute the food and tableware to the kids. I cleaned the table and floor after meals every day.
• I set out the bed and stuff for the kids during nap time and assisted them with sleeping. I helped the teacher organize the kids' cabinet during nap time.
• Every Friday,I deep clean all the toys. I assisted the kids' with dressing when outside time.
• I promoted physical academic and social development by implementing diverse classroom and outside activities. I encouraged the kids to communicate with their peers, solve their problems, ask them questions to learn, and do things by themselves.
• I have a great time with the kids and staff. We love each other.

• I worked in JK3b, which has 17–20 kids. I did a variety of activities and circle time for them. I welcomed the kids and served the meal for them.
• I cleaned up and prepared for the activity, or circle time. I followed the daily routine and worked with them.
• I encouraged the kids to solve their own problems. I always use positive words and tone to encourage them to do something by themselves.
