• Balance heavy patient caseload while performing the operational duties of the physiotherapy department. Duties include scheduling of staff vacations and patient care coverage, staff performance reviews and development of action plans when necessary, recruitment, interviewing, and orientation of new staff, providing input for allocation of funds for educational and equipment needs, and coordination of student placements and required staff mentoring.

• Collaboration with the Director of Therapeutic services and Horizon physiotherapy managers to implement new programs including the iAm (Improve Ability to Move) program and GLAD (Good Living with Osteoarthritis) and standardize care across the Horizon Health Network.

• Ensure quality patient care that is based on best practice guidelines and align with the Horizon Health Network's strategic plan.

• Assess, treat, and educate patients and family members regarding diagnosis, recovery, and therapeutic treatments in both an acute care and ambulatory care patient setting.
• Most recently have focused on a pediatric, lymphedema, and breast health patient populations.
