  • Providing safe, affordable subsidized housing to seniors 55+ and people and persons with disabilities
  • Senior staff member as part of the building committee - fundraiser for the purchase of the land for the proposed new development
  • Key contact for the society with regards to being part of the team of consultants, BC housing project manager, Dubois Engineering, Pac West Contracting and many sub trades
  • Key contact with the tenant liaison to provide the tenants with a safe and comfortable living space until the project was complete and help with tenant complaints
  • Responsible for tenant move in move out units - cleaning, repairing, painting and flooring
  • Oversee all maintenance Programs
  • Oversee all Kitchen Programs - ordering and receiving groceries, creating a dietician approved menu, implementing therapeutic diets with physicians advice
  • Oversee the Recreation program
  • Oversee the Housekeeping Program, ordering and receiving supplies
  • Emergency Phone Response - handling all tenant emergencies after hours , WCB call in every 2 hours on nightshift
