Captain of large tour excursion vessels of up to 45 passengers.

Responsible for passenger , crew and vessel safety.

Safety drills and hands on training of crew is a regular aspect of my position.

As well as daily engine and machinery checks , being able to spot a problem/issue is a big part of my job.

Risk assessment , weather/tide observations and effective time management are also part of this postion.

I held many positions in my time with the fisheries dept and coast guard , starting as a cook deckhand and finishing as a crane operator on a large research vessel. i can be more detailed in a one on one situation if required .
