  • Multiple jobs at the generating station in Churchill Falls Labrador, to re-lamping majority of the warehouses, working in the switchyard changing out 230 and 735 Kva switches, working underground doing vibration monitoring on 2 of the units. Worked in Summerside, PEI on A new Solar Farm. Doing Energization support for the Mun Electrical Group with there high Voltage switching sequences. Supervising a Crew at the Valentine Gold Mine project, also spent a few months working as a LOTO officer.

  • This letter is regarding my interest in becoming part of your team and building the company further, I began my electrical journey in September of 2013 and now I’m a Red Seal Construction Electrician since early 2019. I’ve completed each of my electrical blocks at the College of the North Atlantic in CBS, NL.
  • I spent most of my apprenticeship with one company, NRG Electrical Ltd. working mostly on commercial projects such as Mix (apartment complex, downtown St. John’s), Weatherford building in Paradise and many more large and small projects. Within the past few years I have been working in a more industrial capacity. Such as my employment with Black and McDonald, completing a major project for Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro at the Churchill Falls Generating Station. I worked with a team of qualified journey persons and apprentices to demolition outdated cabinets and wiring on both the generating and turbine floors for an underground generation asset. The equipment was then replaced with much newer infrastructure, ahead of schedule. My most recent employer I’m a Field Supervisor for Rising Edge Group. I've spent the last few months as a LOTO officer on the Valentine Gold Mine Project.
  • During my last few employments, I’ve frequently been supervisor of a small group of other qualified Journey persons and apprentices, completing many different projects and delegating each team member their assigned tasks. I’m a well-liked person and have no trouble making friends at any company or jobsite I’m apart of. I enjoy working with diverse groups of people to realize common goals. I understand the nature of the electrical utility business and realize that afterhours, emergency work is a part of the responsibility.
