Projects

• Pineview Substation – 60 kV Circuit Breaker Installation. BC Hydro, Prince George, BC. July 2023 – Ongoing. Replacement of two 60 kV circuit switchers with 60 kV circuit breakers.
• Multi-Site – Transformer Protection Monitoring Upgrades. BC Hydro. October 2023 - ongoing. Modernizing transformer winding and oil temperature protection systems with electronic monitors.

• Managed the full lifecycle of custom switchgear projects, from estimating to commissioning.
• Directed and coordinated design, manufacturing, installation, testing, maintenance, and documentation activities to comply with specifications, customer requirements, and scheduling.
• Prepared and submitted project proposals to customers.

Project

• VGH Rooftop Substation. Coastal Health, British Columbia. April 2019 – September 2021. Designed and installed a rooftop electrical room with redundant dual 12 kV unit substation lineups for supplying power to the new state-of-the-art operating room floor at Vancouver General Hospital.

• Designed switchgear, MCCs, substations, and control systems for industrial and utility clients.
• Created drawings and BOMs, and conducted site commissioning support.
• Projects included power systems at Escondida and Grasberg Mines.

• Installed and tested electrical components in E-Houses and MCCs.
• Applied troubleshooting techniques to ensure system readiness.
