- This position was a main central hub for dispatching and receiving 911 calls for the SHERIFF'S dept, CAL FIRE, CHP, FISH AND GAME, AMBULANCE, SEARCH AND RESCUE AND ANIMAL CONTROL.
- Received calls and dispatched them to the correct department needed, radio operation, used the CLETS system to run checks on drivers licenses, registration and background criminal histories and so forth.
- Used CAD system computer aided dispatching system to monitor deputies.
- Used ANI/ALI system for 911 calls and recordings and answered administration phone lines also during dispatch roll.
- This position consisted of a very high call and radio volume of incoming and outgoing calls that demanded an extreme amount of prioritizing and multitasking, worked all shifts on a four ten schedule as well as back to backs 24/7.
- Many more aspects to this job were completed on a daily basis as well.
