Worksite Preparation: This includes preparing the work area, setting up the necessary tools and equipment for assembly.
Reading Blueprints and Instructions: I often worked from blueprints and instructions to assemble cars correctly. I have to pay attention to detail and follow directions during the assembly process.
Component Installation: This includes installing the engine, transmission, suspension, body parts, wiring, and other items needed to complete the vehicle.
Quality Check: I have to check the quality of every part installed, making sure they are installed correctly and function correctly. I also have to be attentive to possible defects or damage.
Problem Solving: When problems or inconsistencies occurred during the assembly process, I had to quickly identify the causes and find solutions to continue the work without significant delays.
Compliance with Safety Standards: An important part of my job is to comply with all safety standards in the workplace. This includes wearing protective equipment, handling tools and equipment correctly, and following instructions to prevent injury.
