PROJECT
Automated Stair Climber Robot (September 2020)
The aim was to build an efficient and economical stair climber robot.
Responsible for researching and designing the parts using solid works and AutoCAD such that the final prototype can be built under a given budget, meet all the quality standards and can finish under the provided timeline.
Leading the team handled planning, task division, schedule and budget using Microsoft Excel making sure that all the team members can actively use the opportunity to learn and grow.
Communicated and took guidance from different professors regarding various design issues to ensure smooth progress towards the final prototype.
Brought down the cost of the final prototype by using 88% of budget by updating and implementing a new design, resulting in 11.6% of profit.
