I was to ensure all vehicles were fire ready every morning. Performed wildfire suppression support as directed within training and physical capabilities and other duties as assigned. After morning checks were done, conducted the morning briefing with the crew, going over 6 Minutes for Safety, sit report, and also the daily weather. While at the station would ensure its office, restrooms, and compound were clean and presentable to the public. When cleaning we would make sure the floors were mopped and carpet was vacuumed daily; took the trash out, and dusted window sills. When not on fires, would physically train with the crew, go on hikes and lift weights. Constructed hand line using fire tools for prescribed fire preparation, fuel reductions and clearing roads.
