Vincent Murphy

• Provide frontline EMS support to firefighters for rehab, RIT, and to the residents of Foster Creek Facility on both the ambulance and after hours clinic
• Provide Medical support/rescue/ and rescue plans in High Angle and Confined Space work
• Operate Ambulance, Tanker, Engine, Wilfire Rapid Response Unit
• Initiate SIM and medical and fire training on a weekly basis, and participate in all weekly firefighter/rescue training
• Participate in weekly drills for both medical and fire based scenarios
• Instruct courses in Fire Extinguisher, SCBA, and train auxiliary/volunteer firefighters

• Provide emergency response, treatment and transport to the Advanced Care Paramedic/ALS level
• CP role provide/transfuse all blood products with exception of IG, Central line/PICC/Port access, primary care medicine and assessments
• Venipuncture/lab interpretation with ISAT/Epoch devices/CLS
• IV/PO antibiotics for urosepsis/cellulitis/respiratory infections
• IV hydrations, electrolyte regulation with Mg, KCL, kayexalate
• Wound care/AG dressings, Suturing, stapling of both simple/complex wounds
• Med infusions for CCDMC, ie) ketamine, labetolol, lasix, etc
• Medical Rotations in Internal, Transfusion, and Emergency Medicine with our Physician Group to improve our assessments, evaluation of diagnostics and treatment regimes.

Provide clinic/emergency response for large SAGD plant site.

• Provide leadership and admin support for both medical/rescue staff
• Cross trained in all response situations, so capable of leading and responding to fire/rescue and medical situations
• Train and work with Rescue in High Angle/Confined Space Scenarios.
• Solid understanding of plant processes and how they impact HAZMAT, fire and medical situations
  

• Provided medical and fire suppression/rescue services to the community of Wood Buffalo and the City of Fort McMurray
  I was trained and utilized in both disciplines.
• Worked on Rescue, Engine, and Ambulance.
• Participated in structural/automotive fires, vehicle extrication, and medical support.

Provide ground ambulance and air ambulance services  for the Northern Region of Alberta, NWT, and BC.

Performed armed services for both ATM and Armoured divisions. Responsible for the safe transfer of money, bonds, no- negotiables at times.

• Provided security for both base and the field. Operated in patrol car and jeep formats for enforcement. Trained in hand to hand and armed combat situations. Provided detailed reports and trained in preliminary investigations as a first responder. Participated in Close Protection exercises and training.
