• Completed training to volunteer as a birth companion for women aged 13 and up, particularly focusing on at-risk mothers and newcomers to Canada.
• Provided emotional and physical support before, during, and after childbirth, being on call for a six-week period around the expectant mother’s due date.
• Conducted weekly check-ins to manage stress and offer counseling through various challenges, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the birthing process.
