• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and business stakeholders, to understand and analyze the requirements and functional specifications of POS applications.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring adequate coverage of functional, regression, and integration testing for POS applications.
• Conduct manual testing to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of POS applications, employing thorough test techniques and methodologies.
• Utilize automation testing tools such as Selenium and Appium to automate test cases, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of regression testing and ensuring consistent results.
• Perform end-to-end testing of POS applications, including interactions with hardware peripherals like barcode scanners, receipt printers, and card readers, to ensure seamless integration and compatibility.
• Employ TestRail, a test management tool, to organize and track test cases, execute test runs, and generate comprehensive test reports
• Conduct load and performance testing using tools such as Apache JMeter to assess the scalability and stability of POS applications under high user loads.
